Know how a country rates for women travellers before you book, and plan a trip that takes it into account from day one.
Most travel sites leave women's safety to forum threads and guesswork. We think it belongs in the planning itself. Every country in our catalogue carries a 1–5 rating for women travellers, shown on its card in the planner next to the general, LGBTQ+ and accessibility ratings.
Our guided package tours run in small groups with a local guide and transport arranged on every leg, so you are never left to work out a late-night transfer alone. Premium trips go further: named hotels chosen by a person, and someone to meet you by name at every airport and station.
A low rating isn't a verdict that you shouldn't go. It's an honest signal to plan more carefully, and we would rather tell you up front than let a destination's marketing do the talking. Lebanon, our home since 2008, is a good example: we rate it Moderate, and we run our tours there with that in mind.
Each country gets a 1–5 rating for women travellers. It's the same rating shown on every country card in the planner, so you see it while you choose where to go.
Ratings are our guidance for planning, not official travel advice. Always check your government's travel advisory before you go.
